Josephine Ann (Dettorre) MacGauley


LUNENBURG -- Josephine Ann (Dettorre) MacGauley, 65 died at her home on October 1, 2012 after an illness.

She was the former wife of the late Charles MacGauley who died in 1998.

She leave three daughters and their husbands, Amy Plummer and David Hubai of Lunenburg, Ann Aubie and Terrance of Hubbardston, Annette Chandler and David of Hubbardston, one son and his wife Charles MacGauley and Sarah, one grandson Charlie MacGauley all of Lunenburg, two brothers and their wives, Frank Dettorre and Judy of Plum Island, Peter Dettorre and Janet of Holliston, two sisters Betty Brown and her husband Jack of Westford, and Nancy Dettore of Amesbury, and several nieces and nephews.

Josephine was born in Boston on August 20, 1947 a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Viola) Dettorre. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1965. Josephine worked as a Home Health Aid for many years prior to retiring.

She enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved being a mother and grandmother. Family was her whole world. She will be missed by all.

MACGAULEY -- A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the North Cemetery, Holman Street, Lunenburg, MA.

Calling Hours 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Mass Avenue, Lunenburg, MA 01462.
