FITCHBURG -- Leo R. Nass, 71, of Fitchburg, died Monday, January 7, 2013, in UMass Medical Center in Worcester. He was born on February 14, 1941, in Clinton, MA, was the son of Leo T. and Helen (Kilburn) Nass.

He worked for Canivino-Shea Construction Company in Fitchburg. He was a very hard worker, very loyal, and a good provider to his family. Leo was a very social person who loved to tell stories, he also loved to swim and ride his motorcycle. Leo enjoyed boxing at the Leominster Y. M. C.A.and many days he could be found at Wyman's pond in Westminster.

He is survived by his son Walter Nass of Fitchburg, Tina Davis of Fitchburg, a brother Ronald E. Nass of Westminster, a sister Barbara Goguen and her husband Robert of Gardner, a grandson Corey Nass, and a great-grandson Deven Nass, several nieces and nephews.

NASS -- A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Fitchburg. There are no calling hours.
