SHIRLEY -- Marcia J. (Watson) Addonizio, 82, formerly of Shirley, died Monday, January 7, 2013, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer.

Her husband, Robert R. Addonizio, died January 4, 2008.

Mrs. Addonizio was born in Melrose, October 17, 1930, a daughter of Frank W. and Lydia A. (Young) Watson and resided in Shirley for fifty years.

Mrs. Addonizio was a member of St. Anthony's Church in Shirley, enjoyed painting and had been active, with her husband, in the Ayer -- Shirley Lions Club. She had been a volunteer at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer as well as a volunteer at Nashoba Nusring and Hospice Program.

With her husband, Marcia owned and operated the former Pam's Donuts Coffee Shop in Ayer.

She leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert R. and Joyce Addonizio Jr. of Shirley, Richard A. and Lynda Addonizio of Mason, NH; her daughter and son- in-law, Pamela A. and Mark Morin of Aiken, South Carolina; seven grandchildren, Matthew Addonizio, Alyson Racca, Theresa Gendron, Alex Addonizio, Nate Addonizio, Kelly Fothergill and Michelle Rushing. She also leaves five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Jeff Morin.

ADDONIZIO -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday January 11th at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley.

Spring burial will be in Center Cemetery.

Calling hours are 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday at the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd., (Rte 2A) Ayer. Please see for additional information.
