Loving Mother, Grandmother and Sister

ATHOL -- Mary Ellen (Zungola) Lawlor, 73, went home to be with Jesus, Sunday, December 23, 2012 after a sudden illness.

She was the wife of the late James Lawlor.

She leaves her daughter Toni Andrisani-Rameau and her husband Dana Rameau of Westminster, three sons, Richard Carpenter of Fitchburg, Charles Carpenter and his wife Rose Vaillette of Gardner, and Patrick Lawlor of Gardner, seven grandchildren, Jamie Andrisani of Gardner, Lauren Andrisani of Templeton, Alexandra Rameau and Kylie Rameau both of Westminster, Richard Carpenter, Jr. of Westminster, Stephanie Carpenter, and Tracey Carpenter all of Fitchburg, 5 great-grandchildren, one brother Anthony Zungola and his wife Jean of W. Boylston, two sisters, Gail Thibeault and her husband Jerry of Westminster, Linda Arcangeli and her husband John of Brandon, FL. and her loving companion Gary Harrison of Athol.

She is predeceased by a granddaughter, Nicole Carpenter who died April 15, 1992, a grandson Eric Rameau in 2005, and her sister Jean Montana who died in 2003.

She was born on February 16, 1939, in the Bronx, New York, New York a daughter of the late Anthony and Elma (Ylonen) Zungola. She graduated from Sewanhaka High School in Long Island, NY. She worked for Simplex for many years in the Shipping and Receiving Department before her retirement. She was an avid collector and loved to take long motorcycle rides, and enjoyed spending time with her family most of all.

LAWLOR -- Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Redemption Rock Church, 3 Hager Park Road, Westminster, MA 01473.

Burial will follow in the Woodside Cemetery, 9 Narrows Road, Westminster, MA 01473.

Calling Hours will be on Friday, December 28, 2012, from 5:00 -- 8:00 P.M. in the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Westminster, MA 01473.
