Priscilla Dow (Clark) Kresser; 93
LUNENBURG -- Priscilla Dow (Clark) Kresser, 93, a resident of Lunenburg since 1968, died Tuesday, July 8, in the Golden Living Center, after a long illness.
She was predeceased by her husband, Irwin 'Ike' W. Kresser Jr.
She leaves two sons, Charles R. Kresser, and his wife, Julia of Kingston, NY and William D. Kresser of Leominster; seven grandchildren, Erich Kresser, Stacey Irwin, and her husband, John, Kerri Seeley, and her husband Walter, Patula Dicing, and her husband Eric, William Kresser, and his wife Pam, and Chris and Daniel Kresser: and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was also predeceased by a son, Irwin J. Kresser of Provincetown and one sister, Adele Largey of Leominster.
Mrs. Kresser was employed as a secretary at Christ Church and Chapel Hill School in Waltham, MA and later at North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend, MA and the Lunenburg Council on Aging.
She was a 1938 graduate of Waltham High School, attended LaSalle Junior College in Newton, and was a 1940 graduate of Fisher Junior College in Boston. She was a former member of Christ Church in Waltham and the Woman's Club.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, on January 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Dow A., and Antoinette (Saldwalk) Clark and formerly lived in Waltham, before moving to Lunenburg in 1968.
KRESSER -- Her Funeral will be celebrated on Sunday, July 13, at 2 p.m. in The Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 763 Mass Ave., Lunenburg, MA Rev. May Ann Barry will be the Celebrant. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lunenburg Memorial Fund, C/O Christopher Zarba, Treasurer, 680 Mass Ave., Lunenburg, MA 01462 or may be left at the Funeral Home.
