of Fitchburg, beloved Sister and Aunt
FITCHBURG -- Yvonne I. (Bianchin) Ouellette, 71 died Sunday, December 16, 2012 at the Athol Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Yvonne was the wife of the late Joseph "Andy" Ouellette, who died in 2010 and the daughter of the late Irene (Brassard) Bianchin of Fitchburg and the late John Bianchin of Athol.
She leaves Two astranged Grandchildren, Samantha Bianchin and Shawn Bianchin, both of Leominster, Six sisters, Rosemarie Messer of Westminster, Jacqueline Tocci of Ashburnham, Diana Scesny and her husband William of Leominster, Jean Wilson of Westminster, Jane Bellar and her husband John of Athol, Darlene Bernier and her husband Paul of Athol and two brothers, Paul Bianchin and his wife Sonya of Ak and Donald "Porkey" Bianchin and his girl-friend Teri Hall of ME, her only suriviving uncle, Alfred Brassard of Leominster, a step-son, Wayne Ouellette and his wife Sudonna of NC and a Step-grandson, Wayne Jr and his wife Victoria and Step-granddaughter, Crystal Ouellette.
She is predeceased by her only child, a son, Ronald A. Bianchin who died in 2003 and three brothers, John Bianchin, William Bianchin and Michael Bianchin, all of Fitchburg.
Yvonne was born in Leominster on July 1, 1941. She received her Beautician's license in 1975 and then owned and operated Yvonne's Hair Loft in Leominster for several years. She was an avid flea marketer and loved to go to auctions and yard sales and was excellent at crocheting and crafting as well. Sunday afternoons were special to Yvonne, as it was a day of playing cards with her sisters "The Golden Girls". She was the type of person to give you the shirt of her back, if she thought you needed it more than she did. She loved and was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
OUELLETTE -- A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at St, Edward the Confessor Church, 10 Church St., Wesminster.
There are no calling hours and a private burial will be at a later date.
Yvonne donated her body to the Boston University School of Medicine for purposes of educational study and the advancement of medical and dental science.
The Westminster Chapter of The Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 123 Main St., Westminter is assisting the family with arrangements.
