Blanche D. Bolduc

Blanche D. Bolduc of Fitchburg, St. Francis of Assisi member; 95 FITCHBURG Blanche D. (Morin) Bolduc, 95, of Fitchburg, MA, died Friday, August 21, 2009, peacefully in the Keystone Center, after an illness. She was born on May 30, 1914, in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of Joseph and Rhoda (Hanks) Morin, and had lived all of her life in Fitchburg. Blanche worked for the former Asher Pants Co. in Fitchburg, MA, for over 30 years as a stitcher retiring many years ago. She along with her husband had a site at the Hollis Flea Market for many years. She also loved crafts. Blanche was a longtime volunteer in the Fitchburg School system as an eye tester. In her earlier years, she worked at the former Maverick Street Recreation Center teaching kids all types of crafts. She was a lifetime member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Fitchburg. She is survived by her children, Maurice J. "Jr" Bolduc Jr. and his wife, Gail of Fitchburg, MA, Richard Bolduc and his wife, Jaew of Houston, Texas, Edmond Bolduc and his wife, Janine in California. Her sister, Connie Morin of Fitchburg, MA; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; along with many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy DiMassino, and her husband, Maurice J. Bolduc. BOLDUC A funeral Mass will be celebrated on September 26, 2009 at 10 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 81 Sheridan St., Fitchburg. Inurnment will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Francis Renovation Fund, 81 Sheridan St., Fitchburg, MA 01420.
