Andre Stupak Lived in Fitchburg and Ashby, Navy Vet; 61 -- LEOMINSTER -- Andre Stupak, 61, of Leominster, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at his home. Mr. Stupak was born in Groton, February 24, 1952, a son of Alexander Stupak and Claire (Primeau) Stupak Smith, and grew up in Fitchburg. He was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and continued his education at Mount Wachusett Community College. He had resided many years in Ashby and Winchendon before recently moving to Leominster. Andre had served his country in the United States Navy. For 20 years, he had worked as a QA test engineer and release manager at EMC Corporation in Hopkinton. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a member of the Fitchburg Rod and Gun Club. Andre also enjoyed boating and was a fan of the Boston sports teams. He attended St. John's Church in Townsend. He leaves his wife of 27 years, Debra A. Stupak; a son and daughter-in-law, Justin Andre and Leann Stupak of Townsend; a daughter, Kimberly Anne Stupak and her fiancé, Kyle Boucher of Fitchburg; a brother, Alex of Leominster; a sister, Priscilla Mosher of Texas; two grandchildren, Natalie Stupak and Sydney Stupak. Besides his parents, Andre was predeceased by his twin brother, John Stupak of Buffalo, NY, and his stepfather, James Smith.
