Loving mother, grandmother, and sister; 80

LUNENBURG -- Angela E. (Walsh) Doyle, 80, of Lunenburg, formerly of Chelmsford and Ayer, died Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at her home.

Her husband, Philip Doyle, died in December 1991.

Mrs. Doyle was born in Salem, April 25, 1932, a daughter of Charles and Margaret M. (Trainor) Walsh and grew up in Salem. She was a graduate of Saint James High School and then continued her education at Salem State College where she received her Bachelors Degree in Education.

She worked 15 years as an administrative assistant at the Massachusetts Board of Bar Examiners, retiring in 1998. Prior to that, for several years, she taught in the elementary levels in the Chelmsford Public School System.

She leaves her son and daughter-in-law, James and Dawn Doyle of Lunenburg; five daughters and sons-in-law, Julie A. and Stephen Sallah of Hopewell, Jct, NY, Jane E. and Robert O'Brien of Newbury, Anne M. and Brian Anderson, Mary and Robert Wilson, all of Ayer, Kathleen and Peter Cullen of Chelmsford; three brothers, Charles Walsh, Brendan Walsh, John Walsh, all of Salem; two sisters, Eleanor Morey and Marjorie Reynolds, both of Salem. She also leaves 17 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Walsh and James Walsh both of Salem.

Mrs. Doyle was a communicant of St. Anthony's Church in Shirley, and was a former member of St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford.

DOYLE -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 A.M., Monday, March 4th at St. Anthony's Church, 14 Phoenix Street, Shirley. Burial will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Calling hours are 2-5 p.m., Sunday at the T. J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 25 Fitchburg Rd (Rte. 2A), Ayer. Please see for additional information.
