WESTMINSTER -- Elaine B. (Bevis) Wiktorski, 87, of Westminster, died peacefully at home Saturday, January 12, 2013 with her loving family by her side.
Elaine was born in Ware, MA on July 29, 1925, daughter of the late Leon and Hazel (Cooley) Bevis. She was raised by her mother and step father, Fred Goodridge in the town of Dana, MA. She enjoyed her working years cooking and managing for several restaurants. Throughout her life Elaine enjoyed baking, gardening, paying cards, golfing, the beach, bird watching, blueberry picking, watching baseball and football, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was an active member of Our Savior Lutheran Parish in Westminster and was a former president of the V.F.W. Women's Auxiliary.
Elaine leaves behind her husband of 70 years, Warren A. Wiktorski of Westminster; her children, Diane Wiktorski of Aiken, SC, Kirk Wiktorski and his wife Josephine of Westminster, Lee Wiktorski and his wife Marsha of Benson, VT, Kim Wiktorski of Jaffrey, NH, and Alan Wiktorski and his wife Kelli. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren, Devon, Alex, Heather, Jacob, Dana, Bryant, Brittni, Matthew, Katelyn, and Abigail; one great- grandchild, Dawson. She was predeceased by her brother Dana Bevis. Elaine brightened our lives with her laughter, silliness, affection and love. We will miss her dearly.
WIKTORSKI -- A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18, at 1PM in Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Rd. There are no calling hours. The family welcomes friends and relatives to join them for a time of fellowship in the hall of Our Savior Lutheran Church following the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be to Our Savior Lutheran Church, 1 Hager Park Rd., Westminster, MA 01743. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg.
