LUNENBURG -- Estelle (Galipeault) L'Ecuyer, 90, passed peacefully at her home on February 16, 2012.
She was born in Fitchburg to Candid and Exilia Galipeault in 1921.
Estelle worked at Simond Saw & Steel Co., and Elena Dress Company, Leominster, as a seamstress for many years prior to retiring.
Estelle was an avid gardener, and spent much of her life gardening, sharing, and teaching her love of horticulture.
Estelle's husband, Francis, and daughter, Janis (Lamkin) L'Ecuyer predeceased her in 2009.
She leaves her daughters, Claire (L'Ecuyer) Horan, LouAnn (L'Ecuyer) Raboin and her husband, Steven Raboin of Lunenburg; her son, Paul L'Ecuyer of Lunenburg; and her grandchildren, Joseph Raboin of Barrington, NH, and Sarah Raboin of Portsmouth, NH; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
L'ECUYER -- Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA.
