FITCHBURG -- Joseph P. LeBlanc, 88, of Fitchburg, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 in the Highlands.
Joseph was born in Fitchburg on April 13, 1924, a son of the late Pacific and Exeline (LeBlanc) LeBlanc, both of Canada. He was a graduate of Fitchburg High School, who went on to serve his country in the United States Army during World War II. Joseph later served in the Korean Conflict as a med tech with the 395 Hospital in Japan. For many years, and until his retirement, Joseph was employed in the Electrical Department in M.I.T. College.
He leaves his sister, Florine LeBlanc of Fitchburg, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves his caretakers, Jane and Dave Murray of Ashburnham.
Joseph was predeceased by his loving wife of 52 years, MaryJane (Boudreau) LeBlanc, and his twin sisters, Theresa Arsenault and Lorraine Arsenault.
LEBLANC -- Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd. Fitchburg, is directing arrangements.
