Lida Priscilla (Wotton) LeBouf Obituary
Lida Priscilla (Wotton) LeBouf, 85
Heart of the Family

FITCHBURG -- Lida Priscilla (Wotton) LeBouf, 85, died on September 26, 2013 at home with her loving family after a long illness. Born in North Chelmsford on November 17, 1927, she was the daughter of James Wotton who was born in Cumberland Co., Nova Scotia on February 12, 1866 and Ethel (Bliss) Wotton who was born in North Chelmsford, MA on October 14, 1887.

Lida was a stay at home loving mother and proud of it. She took care of her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and some children that felt like grandchildren. In mid-life, she worked at Sterilite Corporation. Later in life, she worked in the health care field taking care of the terminally ill.

Lida taught Sunday school, was active in the women's club and in the Girl Scouts, attended Bible study and was a deaconess at Faith United Parish in Fitchburg. More recently, she attended First Baptist Church of Fitchburg where she was very active and from whom she received much comfort and understanding when her husband passed away.

She was a voracious reader and for the most part self-educated. She really was like a walking encyclopedia. Lida imparted a love of learning and a "can do" attitude to her family. When younger, she loved to swim and take walks. Lida loved to cook for her family, especially Sunday family dinners. She loved to tell stories about the past. She spread her wisdom to her family and friends.

Mrs. LeBouf is survived by her brother: Robert Wotton of Fitchburg; a sister-in-law: Dorothy LeBouf Pinkney of New Bedford; two daughters: Jane Guimares of Middleborough, and her husband, Al Guimares and Deborah Kulkkula of Fitchburg and her husband, Peter Kulkkula; one son: Harold LeBouf II of Gardner and his wife Cheryl LeBouf; Four Grandchildren: Heather White of Westminster and her husband, Chris White; Jane Andrews of Townsend and her husband Troy Andrews; Shane LeBouf of Gardner, and Haley LeBouf of Gardner; Six Great-Grandchildren: Deborah Crowley of Lunenburg; Patrick Callahan of New York and his fiancé Breanne Peterson; Daniel Callahan of Westminster; Jean Luc Bergeron of Westminster, Laura Jane Andrews of Townsend and Caleb Mark Boyce of Barre; three great-great-grandchildren: Madison Lida Morris, Natalie Jane Morris and Abigail Rose Crowley, all of Lunenburg, many nieces and nephews and her daughter Jane's step family.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold F. LeBouf who died in 2004, her sister, Ellen Till who died in 2008, and two grandsons: Peter John Kulkkula who died in 1993 and Quy Dan Ha who died in 2003. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law Priscilla Wotton, brothers-in-law, Francis, Donald, and Richard LeBouf; life-long best friend Irene LeBouf Mercier and her late-in-life best friend Doris Brown.
