LEOMINSTER -- Lucille M. (LaFrance) Fontaine 92, of Leominster, died Friday, April 11, 2014, in Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 4, 1921, in Leominster, MA and was the daughter of Donat and Alice (Maxfield) LaFrance.
She worked as a clerical administrator for the Leominster District Court, and Fitchburg Registry of Motor Vehicles and the Leominster school system. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster, and the Ladies of St. Anne. She also volunteered for many years at a local nursing home.
Lucille is survived by two sons Wayne Fontaine and daughter-in-law Sandra and Michael Fontaine both of Leominster, Janice Adams and son-in-law Richard of North Andover, and Elaine Wojcik and son-in-law Richard of Hudson, N.H., two brothers Raymond LaFrance of Leominster, and Robert LaFrance of Falmouth, M.A., her grandchildren Renee Nichols, Jason Adams, Michelle Wojcik, Andrew Fontaine, Jennifer Fontaine, and Jonathan Fontaine, a step grandson Matthew Davis, her two great-grandchildren Hudson and Miller Nichols. She was predeceased by her husband Armand Fontaine in 1995.
FONTAINE -- Her funeral will be held from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St., Leominster, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, with a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 168 Mechanic St., Leominster, Burial will follow in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
