of Fitchburg; 80

FITCHBURG -- Patricia A. (Richard) Thibodeau, 80, of Fitchburg, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Thibodeau was born in Gardner, May 5, 1933, a daughter of Prime and Lillian (Canty) Richard and has resided in Fitchburg for most of her life. She graduated from St. Joseph School in Fitchburg.

She had worked at Michael's Restaurant in Lunenburg for several years, retiring in 1998. Prior to that she had worked at Hedstrom Union Associates and Seth Thomas Clock Manufacturing, both in Fitchburg.

She leaves her husband of 41 years, Richard A. Thibodeau; a sister, Jacqueline Goodband of Townsend; a brother, Robert Richard of Fitchburg and several nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Norman P. Richard, Roger Richard, Donald Richard, Gloria Sebek and Connie Shepard.

Mrs. Thibodeau was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Fitchburg and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Townsend. An avid golfer, she was a member of the Westminster Country Club for fifty years, and in 1999 scored a hole in one on the tenth hole there.

THIBODEAU -- A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, June 15th at St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. Friends and relatives are kindly asked to meet at church. Burial will be private.
