Paul M. Fini, Sr.
Leominster native, Army Vet; 86

WAYLAND -- Paul M. Fini, Sr., age 86, of Framingham, died, Saturday, February 1, 2014, at the Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence in Wayland, surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved husband of 59 years of Marlene (Sanborn) Fini of Framingham.

Born in Leominster on November 14, 1927, he was the son of the late John and Elvira (Faticanti) Fini.

During the Korean conflict, he served in the U.S. Army.

He was a longtime member of the Art Director's Club. He loved spending summers with his family at their beach house in York Beach, ME. Anyone who knew him will always remember him as a kind and giving person as well as a friend.

He is survived by his son, Paul M. Fini, Jr. and his wife, Janet of Gloucester; daughter, Judith (Fini) Bolen and her husband, Dan of Framingham; his grandchildren, Kate and Kevin Fini, both of Gloucester, Lisa and Michael Cole, both of Framingham; and great-granddaughter, Izzie Cole of Framingham. He is also survived by two sisters, Anne Mangini and her husband, Frank of Framingham, Patricia Flynn and her husband, Frank of Leominster; and many nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Michael Fini.

FINI -- Relatives and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Tuesday, February 4, from 4 - 7 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., Framingham followed by a memorial service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10 AM at St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster.
