Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother

FITCHBURG -- Priscilla Marie Wotton, 87, of Fitchburg passed away peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 10, 2012 in Leominster Hospital.

Priscilla was born on October 21, 1925, daughter of the late Arthur and Audrey (Defresne) Pelland. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Priscilla loved spending summers in the Wells and Bar Harbor, ME, and winters in Ft. Pierce, Florida. She was an avid football fan, enjoying watching high school, college, and professional football, especially the Patriots. She absolutely adored her son and daughter and loved her grandchildren with all her heart. The love Priscilla had for her family and friends will live on forever. She will be greatly missed.

She leaves her loving husband, with whom she would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on January 21st with, Robert E. Wotton of Fitchburg; her two children, Gail Cheries of Fitchburg, Robert Wotton and his wife Joan of Westminster; grandchildren, Keith R. Cheries and wife Angela, Marci J. Roy and husband Randy, Lindsay (Wotton) Moran and husband Kevin, Kalene (Wotton) Brown and husband Jeremy, and Robert Wotton Jr. She also leaves 8 great- grandchildren.

Priscilla was predeceased by her brother Roland Pelland in 1979 and her son-in-law, Daniel Cheries Jr. in 2006.

WOTTON -- A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St., on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours at the request of the family. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg is directing arrangements.
