Romeo W. Paris, 83

GARDNER - Romeo W. Paris, 83, of Gardner, MA and a former Fitchburg resident, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, in his home, after an illness.

He leaves one son, Keith Paris of NH; three daughters, Christine Dwyer of Ashburnham, Deborah Paris of Austin, TX and Donna Paris of Manchester, NH; one brother, Peter W. Paris of Sharon, NH; one sister, Shirley R. Haas of Wilton, NH; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert R. Paris.

Romeo was the office manager for the former Branch Trucking Company for many years.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fitchburg Joseph P. Keating Council #99. He was a 4th degree member of the bishop beven assembly.

He was veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army.

He was born in Fitchburg on September 22, 1934, a son of the late Robert R., and Marguerite R. (Patient) Paris.

PARIS - His funeral will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis Church, 81 Sheridan St., Fitchburg, MA. Interment will follow in the mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg.

There are no calling hours.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Romeo's memory to the Montachusett Veterans Outreach Center, 268 Central St., Gardner, MA 01440.
