Stephen Gurden Obituary
FITCHBURG -- Stephen M. Gurden, 56, died Monday, December 12th, at home.
Stephen was born in Fitchburg, May 7, 1955, son of Charles and Dolores (Bourgault) Gurden.
Steve was a member of St. Joseph Church. He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Fitchburg, a graduate of Clark University, Worcester and a graduate from the New England Institute of Anatomy, Boston.
After graduating from the New England Institute Steve worked for Richardson Funeral Home in Lynn for several years and before retiring due to illness with the Faggas Funeral Home in Watertown.
His father, Charles Gurden died in 2005. His mother, Dolores (Bourgault) Gurden died on December 12, 2011.
A Memorial Mass for Dolores and Steve will be held Monday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please take time to check on the well being of your neighbors and loved ones.
