FITCHBURG -- Theresa L. (Rivers) Partridge, 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 20, in her home, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.
She leaves four sons, Donald P. Partridge of Nashua, NH, James A. Partridge of Fitchburg, David A. Partridge of Shirley, MA, and Albert F. Partridge of Fitchburg; three daughters, Pauline A. Adams of Fitchburg, Susan Haggblad of Mohnton, PA and Cheryl L. Davis, of Fitchburg, with whom she lived; one brother, Freeman Rivers of Surry Mountain, NH; 21 grandchildren, including Scott H. Davis of Leominster and 33 great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Theresa L. Partridge, 50 years ago and two grandsons, Jason A. Partridge and Paul J. Haggblad.
Mrs. Partridge was an Assembler at the former Independent Lock Co. in Fitchburg for many years and previously had worked at the Woolen Mill in Claremont, NH.
She was born in Claremont, NH, on May 10, 1929, the daughter of the late James C., and Eva M. (Sevigny) Rivers.
PARTRIDGE -- Her Funeral Service will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11:00 a.m. in the Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli and Fitchburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 243 Water St., Fitchburg. Rev. Robert Bruso will be the Celebrant.
Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home are on Friday, Nov. 23, from 6 to 8 p.m.
