My condolences to his family and friends and his fellow 235th Engineers of WWII. While I was not able to meet him in person, his granddaughter Maureen informed me, I was able to reunite Jack with some of his old army buddies, last year. I thank you for sharing that heartwarming story.

I carried mail with Jack 1963-1965. He would give you the shirt off his back. Great guy. Loved his laugh. Our thoughts are with him and his family.

I am happy that I got to meet and speak with Jack again earlier this year and found him to be just as affable and positive then as he was when he coached my Babe Ruth team 45 years ago. A guy like Jack will be missed by all.
