FITCHBURG -- Joseph C. Joseph, 101, passed away March 28th, at home.
Born in Winchendon, MA, he was the son of the late Charles and Hasmer (Abbsi) Joseph.
Mr. Joseph was a bookkeeper for Weyerhaeuser before retiring, and was a lifelong member of The Order of St. Sharbel. At the age of 72, he was the first patient in the Fitchburg-Leominster area to undergo a revolutionary cardiac treatment known as Thrombolytic Therapy.
He was the brother of Jeannette C. Joseph, with whom he resided, and the late Laila M. Joseph, Mary C. Abdallah, Ferris L. Joseph and Louis P. Joseph; uncle of two nieces and four nephews. He also leaves grandnieces and nephews and great-grandnieces and nephews.
JOSEPH -- Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Wednesday at 9:45 a.m. from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home, 109 West Street, Leominster, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem Street, Fitchburg. Graveside burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joseph's memory to
