Cornelia 'Connie' H. (Hayes) Bonner
LUNENBURG -- Cornelia 'Connie' H. (Hayes) Bonner, 75, a resident of Lunenburg for many years, died Monday, June 2, in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital, after an illness.
Her husband of 38 years, Renneth 'Renney' C. Bonner died in August of 2013.
She leaves two step-sons, Ken Bonner of Leominster and Steven Bonner of Templeton; five step-daughters, Debora Robillard, and her husband Michael of Leominster, Donna Tessier, and her husband Anthony of Fitchburg, Renee Benoit, and her husband Anthony of Fitchburg, Julie LaPointe and her husband Ronald of Lunenburg and Suzanne Robinson and her husband Stephen of Townsend; 15 grandchildren, Kayla and Briae Robillard, Jessica Pepin, Jason Shosey, Anthony and Andrew Tessier, Ryan and Taia LaPointe, Chris, Caroline and Alexis Robinson, and Bryan, Samantha, Breanna and Brandon Bonner and 7 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bonner was an Elementary School Teacher in the Fitchburg School Systems for her entire teaching career which spanned over 34 years.
Connie was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in North Leominster, and enjoyed reading, traveling and shopping. She was a 1957 graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School and a 1961 graduate of Fitchburg State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.
She was born in Fitchburg, on April 24, 1939, a daughter of the late Judge Harry C., and Gladys (Rooney) Hayes.
BONNER -- Her Funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, June 5, at 10 a.m. in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 763 Mass Ave., Lunenburg. Deacon Tim Cross of Our Lady of the Lake Parish will officiate.
Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours at the Funeral Home are on Thursday, June 5, from 9 to 10 a.m.
