Pauline C. Leger
of Westminster; 82

WESTMINSTER -- Pauline C. (Forest) Leger, 82, of Westminster, MA, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital, with her family at her side.

She was born in Fitchburg, MA. on February 16, 1932, the daughter of the late Homer and Delia (Thibeault) Forest. She was raised in Fitchburg, MA, and was a graduate of St. Bernard's Central Catholic High School in 1949. Pauline worked as an inspector for the former Digital Equipment Co. and retired in 1991. She along with her husband Raymond moved to Ocala , Florida and lived there for twenty years, before moving back to Westminster, MA. recently. In November of 2013 she and her husband Ray celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Pauline enjoyed playing cards, scrabble, and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Westminster, MA; her daughters, Sandra and her husband, Paul Padula whom she lived with, in Westminster, MA, Linda and her husband, Stephen Winn of Derry, N.H., Katherine Chamberland of Ocala, Florida, Susan and her husband, David Mitchell of Hillsboro, Oregon; her sons, Timothy Leger and wife, Sandy of Fitchburg, MA, David Leger and wife Carla of Fitchburg, MA. and Robert Leger and wife Nancy of Keene, N.H., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lillian Pelletier of Fitchburg, MA, and Lucille Couture of Ocala Florida, many nephews and nieces and brother and sister-in-laws.

She was predeceased by her son, Michael Leger who passed away in 2008.

LEGER -- A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St., Fitchburg, MA. Cemetery services will take place at a later date to be announced. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a . The Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA is directing.
