Sandra A. (DiPaoli) Quirk
of Leominster; 72

LEOMINSTER -- Sandra A. (DiPaoli) Quirk, 72, of Leominster, passed away on June 19, 2014 after a short battle with cancer.

She was born in Leominster on February 21, 1942. Sandra worked for Dr. Paul vom Eigen, the Cutler Army Hospital, and both the Lunenburg and Leominster school systems. Her passions were feeding her grandchildren, working in her flower garden, and taking on all comers at Wheel of Fortune.

Sandra leaves behind her husband, Robert P. Quirk; son, Robert J. Quirk and wife Lauren; sister, Jeanette Damon; grandchildren, Kyle and Kallie Wornham, and a daughter, Jenifer.

She was predeceased by her parents, Gino and Yolanda (Permerino) DiPaoli, and her brother, James DiPaoli.

The family would like to thank the staff at the S.I.C.U. at UMass Memorial Hospital for the excellent care and compassion.

QUIRK -- The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, June 23, 2014 with a Mass in Saint Anna's Church, Leominster at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Saint Leo's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 22, from 4-7pm in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be made in Sandra's name to the , 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
