FITCHBURG -- Priscilla (Aho) Conry, 70, of Fitchburg, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 in UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
Priscilla was born in Fitchburg on January 8, 1944, a daughter of the late Leo and Vieno (Hautanen) Aho. She was the 1961 General Excellent Student of Fitchburg High School. She was employed by Dr. Stuart Fay for over 45 years. Priscilla was a past officer of the Wallace Figure Skating Club and Civic Center Board of Directors. She loved cooking for her many friends and relatives. She was a loving grandparent known and loved as "Gram Chops" to her devoted grandchildren. Priscilla was an avid supporter of sports, especially Saint Bernard's athletic teams.
She leaves her husband, James R. Conry of Fitchburg, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage with on May 23 of this year; children, Timothy Conry and his wife Denise of North Reading, Christopher Conry and his wife Wendy of Bolton, Susan Ecklund and her husband Michael of Gardner; grandchildren, Emma, Jennifer, John, Brian Conry, Brandon Ecklund, Jill Conry, Sydney Ecklund, and Jane Conry; sister, Nancy Fors of Fitchburg.
She was predeceased by her brother-in-law Richard Fors.
CONRY -- The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, July 3, with a Mass in Saint Bernard's Parish at Saint Camillus Church at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, July 2, from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Saint Bernard's High School Athletic Dept. c/o James Beauregard 45 Harvard Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
