ELLINGTON CT -- David Joseph Sheridan, 37 years old, of Ellington, Connecticut, formerly of Leominster, MA, died Monday, July 28, 2014, in Connecticut from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
He was born May 31, 1977 in Leominster, MA, the son of the late Edward F. Sheridan and Alice (Lambert) Sheridan.
He leaves his mother, Alice (Marion) of Leominster, his son, Jeremiah and step daughter, Cecelia, both of Connecticut; three brothers, Steven Sheridan of Florida, Christopher Sheridan and his wife, Lynn of Leominster; and Daniel Sheridan of Leominster; his sister, Lori Normandin and her husband James of Leominster, and his nephews and nieces, Benjamin, Devin,(goddaughter)-Briana, Amelia and Cooper.
He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David was a 1996 graduate of Leominster High School, graduated from WPI in 2007 and CCSU in 2014 with two Masters Degrees. He was a US Air Force Veteran. He was employed as an IT Administrator for MVP Systems in Connecticut and formerly employed by Hartford Financial Services, Inc. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and playing paintball.
SHERIDAN -- David's funeral will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014 from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster with a 10 am mass in St. Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial with military honors will follow in St Cecilia's Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Friday evening August 1, 2014 from 6 pm - 8 pm.
