Judith Conry
Loving wife, mother, grandmother; 73

FITCHBURG -- Judith (Leo) Conry, 73, of Fitchburg, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness.

Judy was born in Fitchburg, on July 16, 1941, daughter to the late Daniel J. and Dorothy E. (Seretto) Leo. She was a graduate of Saint Bernard's Central Catholic High School class of 1959.

Judy was a long-time jewelry department employee of Prime Value Mart. Following her work in the Histology Department at Burbank Hospital, Judy dedicated 27 years to the Fitchburg Public School System, serving as the Guidance Secretary, as well as the Substitute Service Coordinator.

Judy radiated a warmth and kindness that was shared with those she knew. Her passion for decorating, and keen sense of style were evidenced by those special touches of hers that transformed her house into a welcoming home. She enjoyed watching romantic comedies, summering at the Cape with her family, and adoring her seven grandchildren. Her cooking was second to none, rivaled only by her baking skills. Judy could often be found shopping - one of her favorite pastimes. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart Parish in Fitchburg.

Judy was a loving and devoted wife of 52 years to Michael K. Conry of Fitchburg; mother to Patricia J. O'Connor and her husband, Matthew of Princeton, and Joseph M. Conry of Fitchburg; grandmother to her beloved seven grandchildren, Shaylah, Caoilin, Braeden, Darragh and Keelagh O'Connor, and Joseph and Michael Conry; sister to Janice O'Connor of Fitchburg, and Diana Lynch and her husband, Thomas of Harvard.
