Air Force Veteran, 65

LEOMINSTER -- Douglas M. Tisdale, 65 years old, peacefully passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Fitchburg on March 2, 1949 and lived in Leominster all of his life.

Doug owned and operated Northeast Engineering as a job placement specialist for 35 years. His recent job was with Marathon Staffing as a permanent placement specialist. He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He also loved going to "Happy Hampton" as he called it.

Doug is survived by his mother Anne (Fini) Tisdale; 4 brothers Russell Tisdale and his wife Yvonne, Alan Tisdale and his wife Kathy, Brian Tisdale and his wife Anne and Keith Tisdale and his wife Debra; 4 sisters Lorna Manson and her husband Jack, Leslie Mina, Lauri Brideau and her husband David and Lisa Garfinkel and her husband Louis; his daughter Tara Perry and her husband John; grandchildren Mason, Roslyn and Annabella; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Russell Tisdale in 1973.

TISDALE -- A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11 am in St. Leo's Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial with military honors will be in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster. Please omit flowers, memorial donation may be made to a . The Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster is assisting the family with arrangements.
