LOUISIANA Albert J. Boudreau, 88, of Fitchburg died Sunday, March 15, 2009 in Louisiana while visiting his daughter, Yvonne.
He was born May 9, 1920 in Fitchburg, the son of Tilman and Lea (LeBlanc) Boudreau. Mr. Boudreau served our country during WW II. He was a member of the 121st infantry which landed second at Normandy and was awarded the Purple Heart after being shot during that campaign.
His wife, Dorothy (Arsenault) Boudreau died in 2002. Mr. Boudreau leaves six children, Roger Boudreau, and his wife, Jane, of Durham, NC, Yvonne Boudreau and her husband, Willis Barry, of Monroe, LA, Louise Boudreau-Bouchard and her husband, Larry, of Westminster and Searsport, ME, Henry Boudreau and his partner, Joyce Dignard, of Barre, Richard Boudreau of Sterling and Claire Comptois and her husband, Cecil, of Hubbardston; a brother, Camel Boudreau of Melbourne, FL; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
BOUDREAU The funeral will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, 49 Woodland St. Burial is in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
