Leominster, beloved husband, father
and granfather; 61
LEOMINSTER Ernest R. Wooster Sr., 61, of 40 Heritage Lane, died Tuesday (Dec. 22) in his home, after a long illness.
He leaves his wife, Diane E. (French) Wooster, one son, Kris Wooster, with the U.S. Air force at Sheppard's Air Base in Texas, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Ernest R. Wooster Jr., in January of 2009.
Mr. Wooster was a Diamond Cutter for many years at the Jewelers Building in Boston for nine years and later worked at Boston University for several years, before retiring due to poor health.
He enjoyed working and fixing automobiles and held a Tractor-Trailer License.
He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving as a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy.
He was born in Northbridge MA, on August 15, 1948, a son of the late Emery and Bessie (Clayter) Wooster and lived here for the past 29 years.
WOOSTER Funeral Services and Burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Worcester will be private. There are no calling hours. The Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 243 Water St., Fitchburg, is directing Funeral arrangements. See www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net for further information.
