FITCHBURG -- William Harold Happ, 85, of Fitchburg, passed away Friday, March 18, 2011 in his home.

William was born in Edgeley, North Dakota on May 29, 1925, son of the late William Henry and Cecilia (Biermeier) Happ.

William was a career Army Sergeant, proudly serving his country through WWII, the Korean War, and Vietnam.

He leaves his wife, Johanna Edith (Muller) Happ of Fitchburg; a brother, Larry Happ and his wife, Dita of Las Vegas; a sister, Mary Jo Mosbacher of North Dakota; a sister-in-law, Rose Happ of Oregon; and many nieces and nephews.

HAPP -- A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, is assisting the family with arrangements.
