LEOMINSTER -- Roy F. Campbell, 80 years old, of Leominster, died Thursday, November 15, 2012, in the Life Care Center of Leominster.

He is survived by three sisters, Cynthia Valeri of Marblehead, Phyllis Vetras of Clinton, and Janet Clegg of Leominster; a brother, Philip Campbell of Bedford, NH; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by four sisters, Patricia Campbell, Rita Lanza, Barbara Mattson and Dorothy Campbell, and two brothers, Richard Campbell and Michael Campbell.

Roy was born on February 8, 1932 in Fitchburg, son of Roy E. and Irene (Connor) Campbell, and had lived in Leominster for the past 34 years.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War.

Roy had worked in the maintenance department at Fitchburg State College for several years.

CAMPBELL -- A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg. A calling hour will be on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 10 - 11 am in the funeral home.
