GROTON -- Leo G. Tourigny, 59, of Groton, died Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Ayer.
Leo was born in Groton, February 11, 1953, a son of the late Leo G. Tourigny and Kathleen M. (Lemere) Tourigny Racine, and resided in Townsend and Shirley before moving to Groton in 2007. He attended North Middlesex Regional High School in Townsend.
Leo had worked at Lawrence Academy in Groton and for the McCarty Bus Company in Townsend.
He leaves two sons, Philip Tourigny of St. Johnsbury, VT, Jeremy Bellar of Winchester; two step sons, Scott Davis, Shane Altieri; two sisters, Patricia Racine of Townsend, Alida Moulton of Bristol, NH; a brother, Herbert S. Racine Sr. of Shirley. He also leaves four grandchildren, Caitlin and Kiersten Bellar, Gabrielle and Christian Tourigny, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Kenneth F. Racine Sr., of Bristol, NH, Richard L. Tourigny of Lowell, MA, and Dorothy Roberts of Oregon.
TOURIGNY -- A graveside service will be held
2 PM Tuesday, December 11th at Hillside Cemetery, Highland Street, Townsend. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Nashoba Valley Medical Center, Intensive Care Dept., 200 Groton Road, Ayer, MA 01432. The T.J.
