Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt; 88

FITCHBURG -- Jeannette T. (Thibault) Tagliavia, 88, of Fitchburg, died peacefully Thursday, December 20, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends, at her home.

Mrs. Tagliavia was born in Fitchburg, December 1, 1924, daughter of the late Ovila and Lodia (LaFosse) Thibault.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Jeannette loved spending time at the beach, baking and family gatherings. She adored her son, and loved her grandchild with all her heart. She will live on forever in our hearts and she will be greatly missed.

She was a member of the Holy Rosary Solidarity Society and worshiped regularly at Madonna of the Holy Rosary Church before its closing.

She leaves her loving son, Paul Joseph Tagliavia and his wife, Diane J. Bellafiore Tagliavia of Fitchburg; and her grandson, Brian Paul Tagliavia and his wife, Monique of Leominster. She also leaves behind her loving friend, Edward Dolan who she spent many wonderful years with. She leaves a special niece, Patricia Cormier who helped in caring for her. She leaves a brother, Norman Thibault and his wife, Jeannette of Fitchburg. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Jeannette was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Paul Tagliavia in 1976, and a son, James Brian Tagliavia in 2009. She is also predeceased by her sister, Claire Cormier of Fitchburg. She will now join them in the heavenly grace of peace.

TAGLIAVIA -- Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 29th at the Pieta Chapel at St. Joseph's Cemetery, 486 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernard's Elementary School, Attn: Development Department, 254 Summer Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420. The Louis M.
