FITCHBURG -- Elena M. LeBlanc (Liberatore) 90, of Fitchburg passed away Wednesday the 2nd of January after a short illness.

She was born on January 5, 1922 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts and was the daughter of Carmine and Maria (Fuoco) Liberatore. Elena lived and attended school in Montreal, Canada until moving back to Fitchburg as a young adult. Elena was a member of St. Anthony DiPadua Parish in Fitchburg where she married husband, Deacon John B. LeBlanc who passed in 2001, on February 21, 1947. She retired in 1984 from Foster Grant Company in Leominster. Known for her hospitality, honesty and love of cooking she dedicated her life to her family and especially loved being around and giving care to her grandchildren when they were young. She was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Carl, and Anthony Liberatore.

She leaves two daughters Pamela Nosek and her husband Stanley Nosek of Hampton, N.H., and Julia Stone and her husband Stephen of Templeton; five grandchildren Joseph Bosley and his wife of Athol, Andrea Stellfox (Stone) and her husband of El Paso, TX, Heather Stone of Rye, N.H., Vanessa Phipps and her husband Andrew of Middleburg, FL, and Jarrett Stone of Templeton. In addition she leaves four great-grandchildren; Emily & Jenna Phipps, and Matthew & Nathan Stellfox; who will miss out on a truly loving individual with the biggest heart and kitchen in the family. In addition to close family she leaves extended family and friends including Joseph Bosley of Leominster, MA.

LEBLANC -- The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Thursday, January 10, 2013 in St. Anthony's Church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held in the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 A.M. on Thursday.
