LANCASTER -- Leo A. Favreau, 83, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 63 years, Mary J. (Tambolleo) Favreau, died in 2009.
He is survived by three sons, Daniel L. Favreau of Lancaster, James D. Favreau of Northborough, and Michael P. Favreau of Clinton; four daughters: Rebecca J. Renzi, Melissa J. Favreau Sleeper, and Nicole R. Favreau Pearson, all of Lancaster, and Lynn Ann Favreau of New Hampshire; a brother, Roger Favreau of Idaho; a sister, Cecile A. Despotopulos of Lancaster; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Seven brothers, Arthur, Ernest, Joseph, Lawrence, Fred, Gilbert & Frank Favreau, and a sister, Eva Boire, predeceased him.
Leo was born in Moores, NY and raised there and in Sterling, son of Wilfred and Rose (Bosley) Favreau. He attended local schools.
For 50 years, Leo owned and operated Favreau Construction, Lancaster.
A member of Immaculate Conception Church, he enjoyed carpentry work, cutting wood, taking walks in the woods with his dog, and loved the ocean.
FAVREAU -- Leo's funeral will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., Clinton, with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 809 Main St., Lancaster. Burial will follow in St. Leo's Cemetery, Leominster.
