Ronald R. Maillet

FITCHBURG -- Ronald R. Maillet, 82, of Fitchburg, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in UMass Medical Center in Worcester.
Ronald was born in Fitchburg on August 31, 1930, a son of the late Eugene and Edna (Robichaud) Maillet.
For many years, he worked for the Fitchburg Paper Mill until his retirement.
Ronald proudly served his country during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing and trips to Canada. Ronald truly loved spending time with his family and friends; he will be missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his wife Gloria (LeBlanc) Maillet of Fitchburg; children, Michael Maillet and wife, Sherry of Oregon, Brian Maillet and wife, Joan of Leominster, Paul Maillet and wife, Jerri of Fitchburg; a daughter-in-law, Patti Maillet of Leominster; grandchildren, Melissa Maillet, Jessica Patton, Shayna Maillet, William Coulter, Kaden Rajaniemi; siblings, Rene Maillet and wife, Dorina of Winchendon, Denis Maillet and wife, Norma of Dennis, Winifred Landry of Fitchburg, Dorina "Pam" Boucher and husband, Al of Fitchburg, Charlene Boudreau and husband, Ollie of FL, Jackie McCooe and husband, Richard of Lunenburg; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Ronald was predeceased by his son, David Maillet in 2011.
MAILLET -- The funeral will be held from Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg on Monday, May 6, 2013 with a Mass in St. Joseph Church at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 5, from 4-7 PM in the funeral home.
