David J. Ricciutti -- of Ashburnham, MA; formerly of Fitchburg; 75 -- ASHBURNHAM -- David J. Ricciutti 75, of Ashburnham, MA. passed away Thursday June 27, 2013 in his daughters' home in Ashburnham, MA. He was born in Fitchburg, MA. November 25,1937 the son of Joseph and Charlotte (Hirst) Ricciutti. He was raised in Fitchburg and lived there for many years before going to Ashburnham, MA. -- He enlisted in the Air Force and served during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1959. David worked as a machine mechanic for Cell-U Plastics for 45 years, retiring in 2003. He was known by many who knew him as a "Jack of all Trades". He was a collector of eagles and had a passion for their natural beauty and grace. He played hockey for the Old Timers Hockey League for several years. He was a life member of the British American Club in Fitchburg, MA., and played in several area bowling leagues. He most enjoyed spending his summer's going to Hampton Beach with family. He is survived by his wife Annette (Gauvin) Ricciutti, two sons, Frank Ricciutti of Ashburnham, MA., and Paul Arsenault of Lunenburg, MA., one daughter with whom he lived, Donna Bourque of Ashburnham, MA., one brother, Jon Ricciuttti of Fitchburg, MA., one sister Susan Gooley of Winchendon, MA., three grandchildren, Tony, Zoria, and Addison, 1 nephew and several nieces. He was predeceased by two grandchildren, Christina and Timothy. RICCIUTTI -- A funeral service will be held on Friday July 5, 2013 at 1p.m. in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 GlenEllen Rd., Winchendon, MA. A calling hour period will be held Friday morning July 5, 2013 at the funeral home from 11:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Tha Lavery Chartrand & Alario Funeral Home, 99 Summer St., Fitchburg, MA. is directing.
