He was born in Fitchburg on April 23, 1956 a son of Mary E. (Bickford) and the late William R. Bingham, Sr.

Besides his mother Mary E. Bingham of Lunenburg, Bill leaves his brother, David R. Bingham, of Columbus OH; sister, Julie E. (Bingham) McCool, of Reston VA; daughter, Ryann Brown, and granddaughter: Sadie Kennedy, of Gardner MA; daughter, Brandy Bingham, of Melrose, MA; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was also a singer and recorded a CD in 2004, Easier Said Than Done, featuring some of his own music. Bill took on roles in productions at Stratton Playhouse and Theatre at the Mount and was an avid fan of productions featuring his daughter and granddaughter. He was an animal lover and enjoyed his cats, Lucy and Cookie.
