WINNABOW, North Carolina -- Lothar Paul Horst Lussier, 56, of Winnabow, NC, died Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at home.
Lothar was born February 2, 1957 in Darmstadt, Germany. Lothar graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and MIT in Cambridge, MA.
He was currently working as a NC Registered Home Inspector and a partner in Home Pro of Wilmington, NC.
Prior to moving to North Carolina, he worked as Manager of Test Engineering for Tyco, Raytheon, and Bose Corporations.
He moved to North Carolina in 2004, met and married Christine, rescued "Louie", and quickly adopted the Coastal Carolina way of life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Christine Lussier; son, Zachary Lussier of Athens, GA; daughter, Danielle Lussier of Fitchburg, MA; step-daughter, Morgan Benton (Max) of Wilmington; brother, Anthony Tocci (Jen), and two sisters, Patty Lussier and Tammi Tocci, all of Massachusetts; and his faithful and loving dog, "Louie", who brought him so much joy every day.
LUSSIER -- A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Andrews Market Street Chapel. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lothar's memory to Brunswick County Animal Services, P.O.
