of Westminster; 82

WESTMINSTER -- Camille J. Maillet, 82, of Westminster, died Wednesday, October 23, 2013, at Health Alliance Campus, Leominster Hospital.

Mr. Maillet was born August 15, 1931, in Ste. Norbert New Brunswick, Canada, a son of the late Johnie and Marie Luce (Thibodeau) Maillet, and had previously resided in Fitchburg for many years before moving to Westminster.

Mr. Maillet is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita M. (Gaudet) Maillet; two sons, James M. Maillet and his wife, Kelly of Lunenburg, Herve "Peter" Maillet of Fitchburg; one daughter, Rosemary Wuoti and her husband, Peter of Fitchburg; two brothers, Aris Maillet of Ste. Norbert, NB Canada, Leo Maillet of Fitchburg; four sisters, Emelda Caissie, Colombe Gaudet, both of Oromocto, NB, Canada, Rosa Boucher and Anita Robichaud, both of Ste. Antoine, NB, Canada; nine grandchildren who brought him so much happiness; Mark Moscinski and his wife, Allison, Kimberly Wuoti, Emily Wuoti, Bridgette Maillet and her husband, Nick Long, Myles Maillet, Jameson Maillet, Daniel Gendron, Grace Gendron, Mary Gendron; and two great-grandchildren, Jack and Stella Moscinski; two step brothers, Alban Gallant of Haverhill, Paul Gallant of Richiboucto, NB, Canada; one stepsister, Sister Theresa Gallant of Sulpice, Quebec, NB, Canada.

Mr. Maillet is predeceased by a sister, Huberte Maillet, his step father, Edouard Gallant.

Mr. Maillet was the founder of Cam Maillet and Son Construction retiring in 1998 after 30 years of employment.

He served in the French Canadian Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Maillet became a citizen of the United States in 1999.

Mr. Maillet was a communicant of St. Edward The Confessor Church in Westminster.

MAILLET -- A funeral Mass will be held 10 A.M., Monday, October 28th at St. Joseph Church, 49 Woodland Street, Fitchburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
