Allen Forgues Obituary
of Monson, MA, ties to Fitchburg; 67
MONSON, MA -- "It's always a matter of the heart," so said and lived Allen B. Forgues, 67, who passed away June 5, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center.
He was employed as a buyer for Digital Equipment and W.E. Wrights.
He will be fondly remembered as a hardworking, loving man who had a heart of gold and undying devotion to his family. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
He leaves his wife, Clairanne (Lamoureux) Forgues of Monson; sons, Ryan Forgues of Chicopee and Christopher Forgues of Indian Orchard; step-daughter, Pamela Elliott and her husband, Sheldon of Ludlow; siblings, Thomas and Larry Forgues, and Donna Auger of Fitchburg, several grandchildren especially Bryce, Paige, Grace and Sheldon Jr., and his church family.
He was predeceased by a sister, Marcia Forgues of Fitchburg who died in 1944.
FORGUES -- A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13, 2015 at 3 PM at Crossway Christian Church, 2230 Main St., Three Rivers, MA 01080.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Allen's passing. Allen and I had so many laughs, and so much fun, together as Classmates and Class Officers at Fitchburg High School and beyond - he was truly one of my very best friends during those years. Simply put, a great guy has been lost!! Rest in Peace, Old Buddy, and know that you will be missed, and will be with me in spirit always and forever.

Allen was a fellow member of the Class of 1966 from Fitchburg High School. I shall always remember what a kind, generous, and good friend he was. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time. Some people leave a big hole when they leave, and Allen is certainly one of those people.
