Bob was a dear friend to Doug and I, especially to Doug when we were teenagers. We used to double date and had a lot of fun together--laughed a lot and enjoyed church together. Very good memories! Doug will greet him with a great big brotherly hug!

I consider myself so lucky to have known this wonderful man for over 20 yrs and to have had such a loving "Papa Bob" for my daughters, Savannah and Emma. He was the most devoted, caring, and patient grandfather to his grand children and there wasn't anything that he wasn't willing to do for them. He truly was one in a million and I am so grateful that my daughters had such a great role model who loved God, his wife, his children and grandchildren. He is a man that sets the standard of what all men should strive to be. He will be missed beyond words.

Bob was a great father and step father. His love of family was something we all strive for. He was a wonderful support to his wife Sandy and his in-laws during there stay on this earth.
Bob loved the LORD.
Bob love being in the great outdoors when he was able to hunt and fish. Catching the biggest red fish while with us in Florida.
It will be very hard for all of us to live without him.

Dear Sandy, Melony, and family,
It was my extrodinary honor to be Roberts nurse that night, I want you to know how touched I was by the love I felt in that room and to tell you that even though this was the first time I've ever met any of you(except Melony) I was astounded the love I felt from all of you towards Robert, a man whom obviously will be greatly missed by many! I will carry this experience with me through my nursing career and always remember how truly awful it is to be in the shoes of family members caring for a dying loved one. Prayers for healing and strength for you all
Sincerely,
Alisha.S RN

Bob was an amazing friend when we were growing up. He was always friendly and pleasant. We attended Homedale Elementary School and we attended church together. At times, we went up north fishing with Doug Sellers and stayed in Doug's cabin. We had fun times together.
Bob did an amazing job with the Royal Rangers at Riverside Tabernacle and he worked very well with the young boys that were in the Rangers.
He raised three beautiful children and I had two of them in my Sunday School class.
Linda and I are sad for his loved ones that remain and we pray that GOD will comfort them during their time of need.
GOD'S BLESSINGS to all of the family.
With love,
Gene & Linda Lazar

My goodness how time flies ... the Fras (and Elmore) families lived across Mt. Elliott St. when we were growing up -- sometimes Bobby would play ball with us in the street; his sister Mary Ann was The Main Babysitter in the neighborhood, and she has been missed a long time. Now, Bob has joined the family in the Lord's presence. Great memories, great friends forever.
