LORINCZ, DAVID Age 78, died Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Iosco Medical Care Facility. Funeral Mass will be11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing, MI. 48433 (810) 659-2501. Fr. Roy Horning officiating. Interment at St. Robert Cemetery, Flushing, MI. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 400 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 20, 2015 with a Scripture Service and a Knights of Columbus service being Prayed at 7:00 P.M. at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI 48433 (810-732-1448). David was born November 10, 1936 in in Flint, MI to parents Louis and Mildred (Bloss) Lorincz. He was a Fourth Degree Knight in the Davison Knights of Columbus, Davison Post #4090. David retired from General Motors Environmental Lab after 30 years of service. He was a member of the N.R.A., St. Pius X Catholic Church in Hale, MI and loved fishing, shooting and snowmobiling. He was a graduate of St. Paul's High School and DeVry Technical institute in Chicago. Surviving are wife Joanne; children Daniel (Dianna) Lorincz, Kenneth (Kristina) Lorincz; grandchildren; Spc. Michael (Stefanie) Lorincz, Sgt. Eric Lorincz, Katheryn Lorincz, Courtney Lorincz, Casey, Lorincz; great-grandchild Brayson Lorincz; sisters Louise (Dale) Bouck, Barbara (Frank) Skrumbellos; several nieces and nephews; best friends Pat and Joe; dog Kelli. Preceded in death by brother Dennis Lorincz. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Humain Society or a charity of your choice. Condolences may be left On-Line at reiglefuneralhome.com

To the family of Dave Lorincz,
Please accept my condolences at the passing of Dave. I worked for Dave as a test engineer in the VEL at AC Sparkplug in the late 70's/ early 80's. Others on the team were Floyd Young, Paul Gerbig, Max Hoefgen, Milt Davis and Don Arnold. Dave was a great person to work for. I learned a lot about being a good supervisor from him and tried to use that when I became a supervisor. I have considered Dave as one of the top 3 supervisors I worked for during my 40+ year career at GM/Delphi for many years. May GOD be your source of comfort as your mourn Dave's passing.

I am very sorry to learn of the passing of my 1955 St. Paul High School class mate David Lorincz. When I think of Dave, I remember his wonderful singing voice and how he beautifully sang the lead part of the HMS Pinafore operetta back in high school. I remember Dave as a fine gentleman and know he will be missed by his family and friends.
