CLARABELLE "Kitty" PYLES

PYLES (Skutt), CLARABELLE "Kitty" Swartz Creek And of New Port Richey, Florida, age 92, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Vicinia Gardens. Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Reverend Harold K. Polk Jr. officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may be directed to a charity of one's choice. Visitation 5-8pm Saturday and 1-4pm and 6-8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Kitty was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Clifford and Mabel Skutt. Kitty married Glenn Pyles in 1950 in Owosso and he preceded her in death in January, 1985. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in New Port Richey, Florida, the Red Hat Society, the Historical Society of New Port Richey, Florida, Card Club and Security Patrol. Kitty collected Emmett Kelly's Sr. figurines, enjoyed line dancing, painting and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Kitty and her husband Glenn owned and operated Glenn's Auto Parts for many years. Surviving are 2 daughters, Ginger Berdan of Rose City and Judy Lengyel of Flint; 9 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren; Sister, Beatrice Smith of Owosso; Sister-in-law, Henryetta Hartwick of Midland; Brother-in-law, Bill Pyles of New York; And several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, daughter, Karol Judson, granddaughter, Brenda, 3 sisters and 4 brothers.
