JIMMY L. SPRING II

Jimmy L. Spring, II COWARD - Jimmy L. Spring, II died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his residence in Scranton, South Carolina. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm on September 2, 2010 at Pleasant Grove Church of Prophecy in Scranton, SC. Funeral services will be held at Pleasant Grove at 2pm on Friday, September 3, 2010. Little Jimmy (as he was affectionately known by everyone) was born in Charleston, South Carolina on September 1, 1970 and was the only son of Jimmy and Clydia Spring of Scranton. He was an avid fisherman, Nascar fan, and loved his days on the lake at Santee. He was a member of the Lake City High School Football team Booster Club and enjoyed following Panther football. He was employed as a foreman by Pike Energy and truly loved line work and his crew. Surviving are his parents; his children Regan Michelle Spring and Caleb Le-grand Spring who will dearly miss "Daddy"; as well as his sister (who loved her one and only "Bubba") Dusty Spring Braddock and her husband Bryan of Hartsville. He was a doting uncle to his "boys", Jay and Hampton Braddock. Also surviving are aunts Jeannette (Raymond) Barfield and Peggy (the late Pat) Johnson. Nicknamed "Wormy" by family, he is survived by a host of cousins and good friends who he loved very much. He also is and will be greatly missed by a special friend and her family who brought him great love and companionship in his final months. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dessie Spring, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harris Conyers.
