PAGELAND -- Mrs. Virginia H. "Jean" Hudson, 66, died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2003, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of Florence.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Sutton Funeral Home.
Mrs. Outen was born in Jefferson, daughter of the late Preston and Neelie Oliver Hayes. She was a retired town clerk for Pageland, a member of the Page land Beautification Committee, a member of the Chesterfield County Election Commission and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Roddy W. Outen of the home; daughters and their husbands, Lisa O. and Russell Steele of Florence, and Sondra O. and Keith Price of Pageland; a brother, J.W. Hayes of Jefferson; a sister, Margaret H. Price of Jefferson; and grandsons, Samuel and Jackson Steele, Nolan and Preston Price.
