Evelyn Flack, beloved wife, mother and grandmother who was a retired civil service worker at both PAFB & KSC for over 30 years, died Monday, August 19, 2013.
She was born and raised near Princeton, Indiana and moved to Florida in 1956 when both she and her husband worked with Space related programs.
She was a member of Emmanuel Methodist Church in Melbourne until she became too ill to attend.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, M.S. "Bill" Flack; and daughter, Ruth A. McKnight. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Marian (Vic) Kovac; 7 grandchildren, including Ruth's children, Evelyn Foust, Stacy McKnight, Donna Pinkston, Donald McKnight; and Marian's children, Christina Floyd (Dan), Cheryll Bancroft, and Jennifer Greer (Jay). She also leaves 15 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 10am at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US Hwy 1 Rockledge, FL.
She left a great legacy for her family to remember her by.
