Richard Duane Crain, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2012. Richard honorably served in the U.S. Navy and relocated to Brevard County in 1959 to join the space program.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Jewell; children, Terri (John) Hoibraten, Karen Crain, Rick Jr. and his fiancé, Terri Dunn; sister, Carolee (Will) Edenfield.
Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Crain.
He was a proud member of the Bowe Gardens Baptist Church and will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held 2PM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Bowe Gardens Baptist Church in Melbourne, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Memory of Richard to: Bowe Gardens Baptist Church Building Fund, 2700 Sarno Rd., Melbourne, FL 32935.

I had the honor of caring for Richard in his home, I am a home health RN. He was such a joy to be around. He was always one of my favorite patients! He would light up everyone around him with his smile. His dog was a love also.
